Pub targeted in bomb attack

An explosive device was thrown through the window of a Dublin pub last night.

An explosive device was thrown through the window of a Dublin pub last night.

According to the Defence Forces press office, a homemade, viable device was thrown through the window of the Stoneboat Pub in the Sundrive area of Crumlin.

An Army bomb disposal team arrived at the scene at 11.30pm. The device was made safe at the scene and taken away for examination.

The scene was declared safe at 1.00am.
