Punchestown fit for racing

The prospect of substantial overnight rain had caused some concern for officials but those fears proved unfounded.

The first race is due off at 12.55pm and the ground is heavy.

Horse Racing Ireland, meanwhile, has announced there will be a replacement meeting at Fairyhouse on February 9th.
