Tennis: Light rain forced the players off court at a muggy Wimbledon today, shortly after the start of the men's quarter-finals.
Top seed Roger Federer was level at 2-2 with Croatia's Mario Ancic on Centre Court while Swede Jonas Bjorkman was 2-0 up against Czech Radek Stepanek on court one.
It was the first rain stoppage since the first Monday when less than an hour of play was possible.
The weather forecast was for thunderstorms and showers throughout the afternoon.
Meanwhile, former women's champion Maria Sharapova says she has no intention of toning here shrieking down after being criticised by her defeated quarter-final opponent and Russian compatriot Elena Dementieva.
"Personally I think it's a little bit too much," said Dementieva. "I think the umpire should calm down her a little bit.
"Next time I beat her, I will say something. But when you losing...it doesn't look good if you go to the umpire and talking about how loud she screaming on the court."
When asked if she would adress the issue if asked by an opponent or the umpire, Sharapova said: "I wouldn't change a thing."
The 19-year-old faces top seed Amelie Mauresmo in tomorrow's semi-final.
