Racing:Friday evening's meeting at Kilbeggan has been cancelled due to a waterlogged track.
Officials at the County Westmeath venue admitted defeat following an unsuccessful early-morning inspection.
The National Hunt fixture has, however, been rescheduled for Friday, September 11th.
Cliff Noone, Irish Turf Club press officer, said: “The track is unfit for racing due to waterlogging.
“They have had more rain overnight, but it will at least be rescheduled for later in the month.”
