German driver Ralf Schumacher may be out for three months after tests revealed he suffered two spinal fractures in a crash during the US Grand Prix this month.

Doctors at the clinic in Germany where Schumacher is being treated believe he will need eight to 12 weeks recovery, a spokesman said today.

The Williams driver spun and crashed heavily into a concrete wall during the US Grand Prix on June 20th.  He suffered concussion and back pains. He said afterwards he could remember nothing of the accident.
