A rally marking the 20th anniversary of the H Block hunger strikes led to traffic restrictions in Dublin city centre for over four hours this afternoon.

The rally began in Parnell Square at about 2 p.m. and then supporters marched to the Dail in Kildare Street, before returning to the GPO for speeches.

The pipe band blasting, the march passed off peacefully and traffic restrictions ending at about 5 p.m.
