Abidjan - Sierra Leone's embattled President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah said yesterday he was ready to free detained rebel leader, Mr Foday Sankoh, if this would end conflict in the West African country.
"If his release is the price to pay for peace and stability in our country then I am ready to do it," Mr Kabbah said at the end of a visit to Ivory Coast and talks with President Henri Konan Bedie.
