Riga - Latvia's general election campaign entered its final phase yesterday with opinion polls showing a new reformist probusiness party likely to win the biggest percentage of votes cast tomorrow.

A car-bomb explosion late on Wednesday in Riga, in which no one was injured, has failed to dampen voter enthusiasm for what will be the country's third general election since it regained independence in 1991.
