A Republic of Ireland international soccer player has been charged with dangerous driving and failing to provide a breath test.

Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Mark Kennedy (25), was stopped by British police after they followed him leaving a Cheshire restaurant in his Ferrari on Sunday.

Dublin-born Kennedy was stopped close to his luxury apartment in Cheshire.
