Accra - Ghana's main opposition leader will face the country's vice president in a run-off after taking most votes in last week's presidential poll but failing to win an outright majority, the Electoral Commission said yesterday.

Provisional results from all but one constituency gave Mr John Kufuor 48.44 per cent of the vote against 44.80 per cent for Vice President John Atta Mills, who had the support of President Jerry Rawlings, stepping down after 19 years in power.
