An extensive search took place off the coast of Dun Laoghaire in Co Dublin yesterday, following a report that a man had been swept out to sea in the area. The un Laoghaire inshore lifeboat, Garda helicopter and the Irish Marine Emergency Service un Laoghaire shore team searched the area but nothing was found.
