Search for surfer called off

Emergency services last night called off a search for a wind surfer who went missing on Loch Derg. The Shannon marine rescue helicopter and local gardai will resume searching at first light. The 22-year-old man disappeared at around 5 p.m., a marine rescue spokesman said.
