Rugby – Team News:Leinster are pressing on as normal despite the big freeze threatening to derail tomorrow night's Magners League clash with league leaders Glasgow at the RDS (8pm). Coach Michael Cheika today named Jonathan Sexton at outhalf while Brian O'Driscoll will form a central partnership with Fergus McFadden.

A pitch inspection was carried out this morning as tomorrow’s game will go ahead as planned, though the playing surface and supporter’s areas will continue to be closely monitored. Health and safety officers have also drawn up alternative access routes into the ground for supporters because of the frost.

On the pitch O’Driscoll, who was yesterday named the world player of the decade, partners McFadden, while Sexton returns for the first time since sustaining a hand injury during Ireland’s win over South Africa at Croke Park in the autumn internationals.

Shane Jennings also comes into the side as captain and is included in the backrow alongside Kevin McLaughlin and Jamie Heaslip with Nathan Hines partnering Devin Toner at secondrow.

Glasgow coach Sean Lineen delayed naming his bench until today and has included long-term absentees James Eddie and Rob Dewey in his 22.

Eddie and Dewey, Scotland’s centre, have been sidelined due to respective shoulder and ankle injuries.

"Competition for places is already very intense at Glasgow and the return of James and Rob will fuel that even further,” said Lineen.

"Everyone is challenging each other at training so it's great to have two quality players back and available for selection."
