Six people including two children were killed in a home shooting in a small town outside of Seattle on Christmas Eve, the King County Sheriff's Department said last night.
The six victims were killed by "homicidal violence," most likely from gunshot wounds, said John Urquhart, public information officer for the King County Sheriff's department.
Investigators are still searching for more bodies near the home in Carnation, a small town near Seattle, and they have ruled out murder-suicide. There have been no arrests.
The victims, discovered by a co-worker who called 911, included a 6-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy. Also found dead were a man and a woman appearing to be in their 50s, and a man and woman appearing to be in their 30s.
