Rehab is insisting it has provided all information regarding a report used by the charity to set pay rates for its senior executives, including chief executive Angela Kerins, to the Oireachtas Committee of Public Accounts (PAC).
The PAC had asked for a report carried out for the charity by pay consultants Towers Watson. The report was used by Rehab's remuneration committee to guide pay levels, including the €240,000 paid to Ms Kerins.
The report found Ms Kerins’s salary was 21 per cent below the market average, but did not make comparisons with other charity executives.
PAC chairman John McGuinness said it “does not provide a basis for determining salaries” and the committee asked for more information.
However, in an email to the PAC, Rehab said it had submitted the entire document, as it had been requested to do.
