Three people have been killed in separate road crashes in Kildare, Dublin and Louth.
A man (29) was killed this morning when his car collided with another vehicle on the main N9 road at Gorteen, Castledermot, Co Kildare shortly after 8.20am.
A garda spokesman said the man's car had crossed over to the other side of the road and hit an oncoming vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
A boy (17) died in a single-vehicle crash in Drogheda last night on the Marsh Road at around 9.30pm. The victim had been taken to Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital.

A man also died in a single-vehicle crash in Santry in Dublin last night. The crash happened on the North Road at around 8pm when his car hit a tree.
