Three men who have been charged following seizures of cannabis worth €1.5 million at grow houses in west Dublin were remanded in custody yesterday.
Marcin Olszewski (31) of The Nurseries, Mulhuddart, Dublin, Slawomir Lewandoski (31) and Robert Gogolewski (29) of Arran Court, Blanchardstown, Dublin, appeared in court yesterday morning.
All three have been charged with unlawful possession of cannabis, possessing drugs for sale or supply and cultivation of cannabis at their addresses.
Judge Anthony Halpin remanded them in custody to appear again at Cloverhill District Court on Tuesday and Wednesday next week, when they are expected to make bail applications.
The three were granted legal aid. They did not address the court and have not indicated how they intend to plead to the charges.
Two other men who were also arrested remained in Garda custody yesterday.
