Three people were taken to hospital after a gas explosion in a house in Leixlip, Co Kildare, early on Saturday morning,.
The incident happened in the Riverdale Court estate at about 12.30am after Bord Gáis technical staff made a gas leak safe in an adjoining house to which they were alerted at 9pm on Friday night.
Another three houses in the estate were evacuated.
The area was declared safe after a number of hours.
An investigation has been launched into the cause of the incident. A spokesman for Bord Gáis was unable to say when it would conclude.
