Three Irishmen are under investigation in the Canary Islands over the alleged rape of a young British woman.
They were released by local police last night on "provisional liberty", while local police investigate the case.
The accused men were ordered to surrender their passports and remain on the island of Tenerife, reporting every two weeks to the police.
It may be months before they are due to go to trial for the alleged offence.

The three men, two aged 19 and a 20-year-old, were arrested early on Sunday morning in Playa de las Americas on the south coast of Tenerife. It is claimed they had raped a British teenager they had met at a party in their apartment block.
A Department of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman said staff from the Irish embassy in Madrid and the Honorary Consul in the Canary Islands were "assisting the men on a consular basis".
Local police are expected to make an official statement later today.
