Three men injured in Drogheda house fire

Three men were injured in a fire at a bed and breakfast in Drogheda, Co Louth, last night.

Three men were injured in a fire at a bed and breakfast in Drogheda, Co Louth, last night.

The fire at the house on North Road was discovered shortly after 3am by a passing taxi driver.

The three men, believed to be aged 42, 35 and 29, were taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation. The building was badly damaged.

The cause of the fire is not known, and the scene is being examined by Garda technical experts.
