Thurles fixture rescheduled once more

Racing: Officials at Thurles are nothing if not determined

Racing:Officials at Thurles are nothing if not determined. In the latest musical chairs scenario tomorrow's meeting has now been moved to Sunday after this morning's inspection found the course to be unfit for racing due to frost.

Racing is also planned for the Tipperary track on Monday and a further inspection of both the hurdle and steeplechase courses will be held at 3pm tomorrow to assess the prospects for racing on Sunday and Monday (17th and 18th).

The meetings were already rescheduled dates after the original dates were lost due to the recent big freeze.

Elsewhere, the ground at both Naas and Fairyhouse has been described as heavy ahead of their respective fixtures on Saturday and Sunday.
