Two arrested in €400,000 Dublin drugs seizure

Gardaí in Dublin have seized a quantity of drugs with an estimated street value of €400,000.

Detectives from the Raheny, Clontarf and Howth are questioning two people following an overnight raid on a house in Finglas.

Two kilos of cocaine and around 15,000 ectasy tablets were found following the planned search of the house last night.

Two Dublin people, a man and a woman in their early 20's who Gardaí say were in the process of preparing the drugs for distribution and sale were arrested.

Both are being detained at Clontarf Garda Station for questioning under Section 2 of the drug trafficking Act. They can be held for up to seven days.
