Two men have died following separate collisions in Co Waterford and Co Donegal overnight.
A man in his 40s died when he was struck by a car while out walking at Toortane, Co Waterford, shortly after 1.40am
Diversions on the N72 between Lismore and Tallow are in place, and the road is not expected to be open until early this afternoon.
In Co Donegal another pedestrian in his 60s was killed when he was struck by a car at Trimeragh, Letterkenny, at around 1.45am.
Diversions are in place.
