Gardai and emergency services are attending the scene of a fatal road accident on the N4 in Co Longford.
The single vehicle collision occurred at 12.15 p.m. at near Ballinalack, when a car went out of control and crashed into a field and overturned.
The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Earlier this morning a man died in a car crash in County Cork.
It is understood the the single vehicle crash occurred at Pike Farm on the Kilmallock Road in Charleville at around 3 a.m.
The dead man was 19 years old. His name has not yet been released.
