Gardai are questioning a man and a woman over an assault and robbery in Cork City early this morning.
A man is recovering in hospital after being tied up, beaten and robbed in the Greenmount Buildings area of the city at around 4 a.m. He was not seriously injured.
The two are being held in the Bridewell Garda station while detectives in Anglesea St are investigating
