A motor cyclist and his passenger have been taken to hospital in Waterford today following a crash during the FBD Milk Rás.
The two men were part of the race entourage as the sixth stage of the event took the riders from Cappoquin, Co Waterford,. towards Dungarvan, also in Co Waterford.
Early reports suggest there was a collision between the motorbike and a private car at the rear of the racing group around 1.30 p.m.
The men were taken to Waterford Regional Hospital where their condition is described as serious but not life threatening.
