Gardaí are hunting for two men who tied up two people during an armed robbery at a house in Galway last night.
The two men, who were wearing balaclavas, broke into the house in the Ballard East area of Barna at around 9.00pm demanding money. One of the men was believed to have been carrying a gun.
The raiders tied up a man and a woman who were in the house at the time. A Garda spokeswoman said the man suffered head injuries during the incident.
The two men escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.

Gardaí have appealed are appealling for any witnesses that may have been in the area at the time of the incident to contact them.
