Rangoon - The opposition leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, yesterday met the UN special envoy, Mr Razali Ismail, in Rangoon, a government source said.
The veteran Malaysian diplomat met the National League for Democracy (NLD) leader at her home following an earlier meeting with the head of the military junta, Senior General Than Shwe.
The 55-year-old Nobel peace laureate has been confined to her house with her telephone cut and diplomatic access barred since September 21st.
