WASHINGTON - Mother Teresa yesterday visited a bastion of power and influence to accept an award from the US Congress for her lifetime of service to the world's least powerful and influential.
In an hour long ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda, the frail ailing Nobel Peace Prize winner accepted the Congressional Gold Medal for her efforts in ministering to the poor.
