Veris figures boosted by acquisitions

Property services Veris today reported a pretax profit €2.1 million for the first six months of the year, up 12 per cent on the same period in 2006.

The company, formerly Irish Estates, said revenue rose 65 per cent, from €18.85 million to €31 million and added it is confident of continued growth during the remainder of 2007.

Veris said revenue was boosted by the acquisitions of the Beverly Smyth Group, Glenrye and Premier Property in 2006.
