Westmeath will be without Martin Flanagan for Sunday's Leinster semi-final against Dublin after the centerfielder failed to prove his fitness this evening.

David Duffy has been called upon to take his place and Dublin will be glad to see the back of Flanagan after his towering performance in the centre when the teams met in April's Division Two final.

It's not all good news for the Dubs however, with the news that Alan Mangan will be replaced by Dermot Bannon at corner forward. The Athlone youngster was man-of-the-match in the Parnell Park final and will be relishing another crack at Paul Caffrey's side.

Elsewhere, Ambrose Rodgers has recovered from the ankle injury he sustained in the quarter-final win over Tyrone and will take his place in an unchanged Down side to face Armagh in the Ulster final in Clones.

WESTMEATH (SFC v Dublin): G Connaughton; F Boyle, K Gavin, J Keane; M Ennis, D Heavin, D Healy; D O'Donoghue, D Duffy; F Wilson, J Smyth, D Harte; D Dolan, Denis Glennon, D Bannon.

DOWN: B McVeigh; L Howard, D McCartan, D Rafferty;A Carr, L Doyle, P Murphy; D Gordon, J Lynch; R Murtagh, A Rodgers, D Hughes; J Clarke, B Coulter, R Sexton.
