A woman has died following a road crash at Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan.
Four people were also injured in the two-car crash, which took place on the N2 at Tullyvaragh Lower at 5pm yesterday.
A 34-year-old woman who was driving one of the cars died, and three passengers, including two children and a 62-year-old woman, suffered injuries in the incident.
The driver of the other car was also injured.
They were taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda for treatment.
