A woman died in a house fire in Armagh city last night. Police are investigating the cause of the blaze, in Lang's Crescent, which was discovered shortly before 9.30 p.m.
The dead woman is believed to have been in her 60s and lived alone.
Her death was the 12th house fire fatality in the North so far this year, compared to 15 in all of 1998.
