Woman dies of injuries after Co Kildare crash

A woman in her 70s has died of injuries she received in a crash in Co Kildare yesterday afternoon.

A woman in her 70s has died of injuries she received in a crash in Co Kildare yesterday afternoon.

The woman was the driver of a car that was in collision with another car and a lorry at Cloncurry Cross, Enfield at 2 p.m. yesterday.

She was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown where she died today.

A 20-year-old man died today as a result of injuries he received in a car crash on Monday.

The man was in the single-vehicle accident at Trooperstown, Roundwood, Co Wicklow at 9 a.m. on Monday. He died of his injuries in Tallaght hospital today.

Thirty four people have died on the State's roads so far this year.
