A WOMAN in her 60s died yesterday after she lost control of the car she was driving and crashed into a tree in Co Waterford.
The crash happened at 3.15pm at Ballyduff, near Lismore.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was removed to Waterford Regional Hospital.
She was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
No one else was injured in the crash.
