Sir, – My late father used to laugh uproariously when told that people were buying water in the shops that was more expensive than milk or petrol.
Well now it to amazes me that people continue to buy water when they have a perfectly adequate – and free – supply available at home, and where you don’t need a grotesque plastic bottle either. What’s wrong with bringing a flask of cool tap water with you when you go out if you think you might get thirsty? More money than sense covers it. – Yours, etc,
