Sir, – Another bus and bicycle lane scheme is announced from Fairview to the Five Lamps and seriously disrupting another Dublin artery for 12 months. Part of a €62 million project, it is another of such schemes under way throughout the city involving hundreds of highly-skilled operatives and millions of euro of equipment.
One has to wonder who in national or local government has prioritised these schemes in our present economic and social environment, allocating such resources and budgets when the construction of social housing is much needed. – Yours, etc,
