Sir, – With reference to Matt Williams’s column (“Time for Ireland fans to find Aviva voice for Springboks challenge”, Sport, October 29th) may I suggest that in order to restore the roar of the fans in Lansdowne Road the IRFU should consider making tickets affordable for the “ordinary” supporter of the game who would inject some noise into the stadium.
The current ticket prices are beyond the means of many rugby supporters.
