Sir, – I so totally agree with Rhona Kelly’s sentiments about enjoying the sounds of nature as you walk (Letters, November 14th). I love walking by the sea and the pleasure of that is so enhanced by the crashing of the waves on a wild day and the lapping against the shore on a calm one. I just can’t imagine blocking all that out with earphones. – Yours, etc,
