Sir, – By my count, the Minister for Public Expenditure Paschal Donohoe has written at least 25 book reviews for The Irish Times since he was first appointed to ministerial office in 2016.
He wrote 10 such reviews during 2021 alone, and in one recent edition (December 31st last) he wrote brief reviews of five books.
Quite aside from how he finds time to read so many books, let alone to write reviews on them, might I suggest to Mr Donohoe that he should cut down on the reading and devote a little more time to basic form-filling? – Yours, etc,
