Sir, – Further to “Households to get €50 refunds for being overcharged on ESB bills dating back to 2009″, News, January 31st), I presume the ESB is going to explain how they arrived at a credit of €50 per household after many years of overcharging its residential customers?
To blithely announce a credit without any explanation is ridiculous. Surely the long-suffering domestic customers are entitled at least to someone from ESB Networks fronting up with an apology and reason for this overcharging fiasco. – Yours, etc,
