Sir, – It seems that the sports pundits have taken over the airwaves. Increasingly there seems to be a trend to start media coverage of games across all sports an hour or so before the game actually starts.
While we all like a bit of pre-match analysis, surely there is a limit to what these so-called experts have to say. The more time they are given, the more talking they will do. – Yours, etc,

Sir, – Media outlets are, I think, scraping the barrel in their search for “analysts” to enrich their sports coverage. On Sunday, I heard one such worthy begin a response to a question with “Yeh no look obviously”. I changed channels and missed the rest of the undoubtedly insightful response. – Yours, etc,
