Sir, – While I would agree with Fintan O’Toole’s analysis regarding the stamp of religiosity on Bunreacht na hÉireann (“The Irish Constitution is deep fried in divinity”, Opinion, News Review, March 18th), I must take exception to his reference to God as “she”.
Surely the correct pronoun in this case is “they”? – Yours, etc,
