Sir, – Last week Abbott turned the sod on a new 30,000 sq m manufacturing facility in Kilkenny. It expects to commence operations at the facility next year.
Could they be persuaded to build a couple of hospitals and a few thousand houses while they’re at it?
I’ve often wondered why major private facilities can be constructed so quickly while public facilities take years and years. Could it possibly be that those charged with the former are spending their own money and will be held accountable for delays? – Yours, etc,
