Sir, – Fintan O’Toole asks what he describes as a fascinating question, “What if Sinn Féin makes Northern Ireland viable?”(Opinion & Analysis, May 30th). While I admire that he hopes it does, it has to be said that Northern Ireland is a power-sharing entity and it will not be entirely within its gift. It will need the DUP hand in hand to achieve success in regenerating the Northern Ireland economy. – Yours, etc,
