Sir, – On a beautiful sunny evening in June, RTÉ's scheduling department thought its audience would appreciate the Christmas edition of Ear to the Ground (Tuesday, May 30th). Leaving aside the issue of running yet another repeat on the nation’s premier TV channel, what little regard must RTÉ schedulers have for their audience to think that we really want to know how to make a Christmas wreath when the bees are buzzing outside and students curse the good weather as they prepare for exams.
Cop on, RTÉ, and stop treating the licence payer with such disdain. – Yours, etc,
