Sir, – Just like most other people, I have noticed a huge increase in my grocery bill weekly.
Indeed, I have even noticed a huge increase in such things as the price of a car service, domestic repair, building materials, insurance, etc.
Now quite a lot of these increases have, for some reason, been attributed to the war in Ukraine by the various retailers, but I never thought the humble filled bread roll would fall victim to this alarming price increase.
I have purchased my bread roll daily with two fillings (cheese and tomato) at an approximate cost of €3.10. But for the past few weeks, there has been an almighty increase in this, and I am now paying as much as €5.

I wonder is this increase also attributed to the war, or are retailers continuing to jump on the ever-rolling bandwagon? – Yours, etc,
