Sir, – The Minister for Justice says the solution to Dublin’s inner-city issues is not just “boots on the ground” (News, September 8th). The Government reaction to the recent spate of road fatalities is to cut the speed limits and increase enforcement, ie more “boots on the ground”.
Are extra “boots” really required to simply close the stable door? – Yours, etc,
