Sir, – I suggest to readers that they consider giving family and friends a reusable cup for their teas or coffees this Christmas to be kept in their car, pannier, handbag, etc, for easy access.
Anything to reduce the obscene amount of single-use cups and lids being doled out by coffee outlets ending up in bins, on walls, hedgerows and roads has to be a step in the right direction. – Yours, etc,
