Sir, – It has become apparent that the greatest threat to a resolution to the housing crisis across north Dublin city isn’t political will, developers, zoning, financial markets, local communities nor additional traffic but the light-bellied Brent goose (“Cadbury site apartments refused over Brent goose concerns”, Business, March 15th).
This rejection, coming on top of the rejection for a similar development in Raheny, among others in north Dublin, shows the scale of the issue. Isn’t it time our politicians took a stand against this menace? Or are they chicken? – Yours, etc,
